Minutes from the planning meeting:

·         Plans were made for the first visit to Portugal -  25th February to 3rd March 2018.

The activities will have a Science focus. It was decided that:

·         Each country was to choose a famous scientist and prepare activities for their own children in their own schools to participate in. Partners will record all activities and create a presentation for all partners in Portugal. Partners were advised to send an email to all partners to share their choice of Scientist by 10th January 2018.

·         Partners must also record all activities for Science clubs between November 2017 and the 25th February and make a presentation for all partners in Portugal.

·         Each partner was to create a Science magazine for the children and take the magazine to the meeting in Portugal also.

·         The Portuguese team will present a science activity with the children.

Dates were set for future meetings:

The Visit to Latvia will take place 3rd June to 9th June 2018. (3rd June and 9th June are travel days with 5 working project days)

The focus for this meeting will be Language clubs.

The visit to Italy will take place 23rd September 2018 to 29th September 2018 (23rd and 29th September are travel days with 5 working project days)

·         Logo

The Portuguese team presented a proposal for the project logo, designed by Ana. Partners chose to accept the logo and would like to thank the Portuguese team for their work in producing it. Partners suggested that the logo would be well presented in a circle boundary.

·         Social Media

A dropbox account has been created where partners can upload all files and photographs for the project. This will be managed by the UK coordinator. As storage fills, Jayne will inform partners that photographs need to be downloaded from the dropbox site then deleted to create more storage space for future photographs.

A Facebook and WhatsApp group will be created before the end of the transnational meeting.

·         Europass Mobility

Each partner needs to apply to their own Europass National Centre if you want to receive a certificate for training. The document must be signed by the people travelling and the receiving partners. You do not have to apply for these certificates but can do if you would like a professional record of training attended.

·         E-Twinning space and website

ETwinning offers a platform to communicate, collaborate, develop projects and share practice. Partners discussed who would be able to create the project website and an ETwinning space. As partners do not have the technical staff required to do this in their schools, we would like to ask our Turkish partners if they have the capacity to take on this responsibility please? Please confirm is this is possible for you.

·         Mobility Tool

Please could everyone make sure that the mobility tool is updated.
